What are you hoping to add to our KofC Council this year: To be able, in some small way, to enhance the services for basic needs we provide to those most needing them in community. Including offering educational opportunities for people who want to raise their children in the Catholic faith. Further, I desire to participate in ecumenical outreach so that our non-Catholic Christian brothers and sisters can get a feel for how we believe and practically practice our faith.

Joined the KofC: 2003 Profession: Retired. Retired after 28 years in the US Air Force, then retired again from Habitat for Humanity. Member of St. Frances Cabrini since: 2/13/2003 Spouse and Family: Married to Margaret for 53 years. Two children and 2 grandchildren.

What are you hoping to add to our KofC Council this year:
Idea that we are here to serve for the sake of helping others and not for receiving accolades for our efforts.

Joined the KofC: 2006 Profession: Retired from Tacoma Police Dept. in 1991. Worked as lobbyist until 1995 and then was Manager of Special Investigations Unit for WA State Gambling Commission until 2005. Member of St. Frances Cabrini since: Joined SFC in 1995; became council member in 2006. Spouse and Family: Married o Judy Swortz, have 4 adult sons (Oldest 57, youngest 51, 2 were knights when I joined, only one now.) All 4 sons are married and each have 2 children. Total of 8 grand children (6 girls, 2 boys, oldest 30 years old; youngest 18)

What are you hoping to add to our KofC Council this year: Only advice and guidance of what I have learned through the years that I was in lead positions, and continued participation is the council activities when I can.

Joined the KofC: 2009 Profession: worked for the City of Tacoma as an Accountant and quit in 1993. Started teaching Language (Filipino) at JBLM and retired last year after teaching for 13 yrs. Member of St. Frances Cabrini since: in the council since 2009 Spouse and Family: Married since 1973, wife: Chona. 4 Children- Maia, Paolo, Andreand Lara. Grandchildren: Lexi, Cole, Margeaux, and Brady.

What are you hoping to add to our KofC Council this year: I want to be active & involved in some of the projects for our Council.
